Klint tore it up this year in Nebraska. 0 events last year in the state of Nebraska to six events and one more possibly in the works from what I was told about a week ago. Pretty interesting I think. Good Job, looking forward to seeing some different faces in these parts this year. Should make for an exciting summer of pulling around these parts. Outlaws has a strong schedule and PPL has several

Re: Diesel VS. Gas - 9 years ago
Diesel is the only fuel being used in tractors. Been that way for a long time. Diesel is also the easiest fueled engines to make power. With gas and alcohol things have to be perfect or they fall on their face or burn up. The diesel can run at any fuel to air ratio and perform. With plenty of fuel, plenty of boost and enough water they will run until they self destruct. You can not throw fuel

Are these guys really any different? Might have to deal there if they are.Glad to hear the product is worth it

Yea, I have seen some bad things. I was unaware that they were other cast parts. Thought that maybe there were pressed or machined steel. Thanks for the input.

Re: HP limit for stock 1066 clutch - 9 years ago
To be legal, you have to have every thing in the clutch STEEL. Most factory clutch parts are CAST. Bad things CAN and have happened under 3000 rpm. Heat is another factor to put up with. Pressure plate is cast. You may want to run a different class some time, that require SFI clutch set up. Do it right the first time. Will save you money later.

Contact the Yantes team out of Ohio - 9 years ago
Get with the Yantes team out of Ohio. Those guys have had their hands on 8.3 and 8.9 Cummins for longer than anybody I know. Those guys have faced every trial possible with those motors and can tell you where to go to get the right parts. Those guys know their stuff about the bigger Cummins, also Eddie Kerr out of mid-south is knowledgeable, but the Yantes team has always been a huge help to m

Re: Cummins ISL vs QSL 8.9L question - 9 years ago
Go to the 8.9L. Just make sure you have the block with the roller lifters. That makes stuff easier, and more affordable. As far as parts, we make camshafts, and sleeves so far. We also are going to make deckplates, girdles, and billet main caps. So most of the parts will be available like anything else.

Re: converting a dt466 to gas - 9 years ago
It's a wasted spark set up, it fires opposing cylinders at the same time due to the design of the controller. It fires one on compression stroke and the other on exhaust at the same time. It is designed this way to make the system cheaper to build (also to limit dwell time without a more sophisticated controller) and is how a lot of vehicles are (ones that don't have individual coil on

First I would like to say thanks for the post. I like where you are going with this idea and yes it would be a simple start. All the wiring marked and routed in the open would sure make it alot easier to trace. I have seen wiring running out of weight boxes even in the rear of a truck. If you use a tel-a-tac I believe is what they are called they have screws in the front cover could be removed to

Well, here is an idea. This is only based on my limited knowledge, imagination and just flat out rumors that I have heard of how some traction control systems work. Since no one who has one, has developed one or is selling one is going to let anyone else in on any secrets, there are going to have to be a huge amount of assuming but at least it could be a start for someone out there. And I am n

Oliver 1650,You mention that all of these other sports haven't changed their finish line so to speak. I'm not a big NHRA fan but if I recall they did change their finish line for their top classes, they did the opposite of what is happening in pulling. So changes do happen in other sports to help make the races and games more interesting for the spectators as well as safer for the dr
